Analysts at Barclays Capital work as full members of project teams on financing and advisory projects for our clients. Most assignments involve financial analysis for projects in Equity & Debt Financing, M&A, and Risk Management. As an analyst you will develop an invaluable skill set of modelling, accounting and valuation techniques in the products offered by Barclays Capital. Additional aspects of projects include participation in due diligence sessions, preparing marketing material for investors and clients and conducting markets and industry analysis.

In addition, these roles offer the opportunity to join our Initial Training Programme (ITP). The ITP is an intensive, London based, programme, lasting 10 weeks, which gives candidates an excellent understanding of financial markets, as well as the Barclays Capital’s products, instruments and services. This creates a strong platform on which to build a more specialised expertise.
